TrueGreen Mobility is pleased to announce that it has significantly bolstered its leadership team
with the key appointment of Mr Michel van Maanen as its Chief Executive Officer of both TrueGreen
Mobility and its wholly owned transport manufacturing division Nexport.
Mr van Maanen is an experienced senior executive with a strong international track record in largescale
logistics, automotive and transport organisations.
Most recently, Mr Van Maanen was the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Operations Officer at
Dutch e-bus manufacturer and innovator, Ebusco. During his tenure with the Dutch group, he was
instrumental in preparing and scaling the business for its recent successful 1.3bn Euronext IPO. This
included key responsibilities in securing the group’s largest order for electric buses, implementing
strategies to triple the Ebusco’s revenue and margin, expedited company growth by increasing the
staff from 25 to over 250 people and optimised services including sales, supply chain management
and infrastructure support.
Previously Mr van Maanen held senior executive roles with international transport operator
Transdev, including Director of Supply Chain Netherlands, CEO Transdev Portugal and CEO Transdev
Australia.
As CEO of TrueGreen Mobility, Mr van Maanen will focus on advancing the group’s overall strategy
and Nexport’s plan to implement commercial applications of zero emission vehicles including buses,
trucks and air and seaport handling transportation, as well as infrastructure ecosystems throughout
Australia at a business-to-business, and business-to-government level.
As part of Mr van Maanen’s appointment, Mr Luke Todd will transition to Chief Executive Officer of
EVDirect, a direct-to-consumer company focused on the manufacture and sale of EVs to Australian
consumers.
